Daddy's Crazy Fro

Well everyone by now knows about Blake's hair. He is letting it grow out for the baby. It is SO LONG!!! Most days it's going in every different direction. It's probably adding 10 lbs. to him. But he LOVES it. He just loves to see peoples reaction to how long it is, he reviles in it. Maybe next month I'll brad it? Cornrows? Pig tails?

The Woods Are On Fire!

Well Blake and I adventured out this weekend to the "Farm". We could not have asked for better weather. It was gorgeous all weekend. Bryant came too along with Trigger. Friday we burned behind the dam and by the creak. Trigger was loving it! He scared off some geese by the pond and went for a swim. He's crazy the water had to be cold. Then on Saturday Terry and Debbie showed up. We all burned off the field and the trussle. It was a long hard day. I got some sun on my face. Over all it was a fun successful weekend!

24 Weeks

We had another good doc's appointment this week. The baby's heart beat was good like usual. I am now 29 inches in the belly and had gained 10 lbs. in five weeks. Blake was a "little" concerned that I was gaining to much weight to fast! The doctor said I just need to watch it the next couple of weeks, but I'm all baby up front. I don't think that my over all weight so far is to bad. 20lbs in the last 24 weeks that's less then a pound a week, but i did have a big spike there. My belly finally came in and I'm all baby. I think next visit we're going to do a 3D sonogram. I'm so excited!! The baby's moving so much! I can't wait to see the fingers and toes, and by that time also the face will be vary defined.

He has wavy, slight curly hair so that means it goes in every direction. It looks different every day depending on how the winds blowing! If you do see him (and you might miss him if you don't look close) just let him know he looks like a woolly burger.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to my mom! She is officially the 2009 Air Force Spouse of the Year. Last weekend she and my dad were flown to San Antonio for a Spurs basketball game. Where she and the four other winners were announced at half time. They were put up at the Westin right on the river walk and were given a $250 spa credit. They made new friend and had a wonderful experience.
So now I ask you all again to VOTE!! The voting has already started and will go threw March 4. All you have to do is register. You're allowed to vote every eight hours. So set your alarms. Do it right when you get to work and before you go to bed! My mom and aunt were funny they had it timed perfectly to be able to vote three times a day. Let everyone you know they can vote too!!
She is an ideal candidate for this. She is the only reserved wife everyone else is active duty. She has her hand in so many things in and outside the guard. She is also the only military child turned spouse. You can read her profile and find out for yourself what an amazing women and wife she is. So get out and VOTE!!!
VOTE OR DIE!!!!!

20 Weeks

Well last Tuesday Blake and I went to our routine doctors visit. I had to have blood drown for all those test they do to check for birth defects or other things. That went fine even though I was sick to my stomach afterwards. The doctor will normally comes in and checks the babies heart rate. Well this time he couldn't find the heart beat! He moved the thing around and up and down for a minute and NOTHING! I looked a Blake and was FREAKING! The doctor said "the little suckers hiding" which made me laugh (instead of cry) and then there it was!!!! Thank God! Blake and I were scared there for a minute.

I asked the doctor about what I could eat. We were going to have a food tasting at my job for new things they're putting on the menu. He said I was fine to eat whatever. Yellow fin tuna, veal, and even oysters? He said I'm allowed two servings of fish a week. So safe there.

I did hear from the doctors office today and all my testes came back normal. Thank God!
