Food for thought!

The other day Blake and I ventured our with our precious Belle in tow! Friday Subway was having it's customer appreciation day. I'm a Subway spokes person or could be as much as I love to eat there. But Blake was waiting with Belle as I got our food. This elderly man came over and asked "can HE eat a whole one by HIMSELF?" Blake looked and said "no SHE can not!!" I'm not sure if the guy picked up that it was a girl but people come on! If you are out some where and you see a baby please take some mental notes before opening your mouth. Does it have a pink pacifier in it's mouth? Is it wearing ALL pink? Is there a purple hair band in it's hair? That may be an indication that it's NOT a boy and that it's a GIRL!! And if it is a boy that will be one messed up kid!I just want to spear you from the anger of the parent and the humiliation to yourself of how stupid you look!

Please NO more pictures!

Under Construction!

Blake and I had decided to put in a dishwasher and redo the floor in out kitchen. So Monday it began. I got called off from work so we went and picked up all the things. I was stoked to see the dishwasher we wanted was on clearance. Even better! When we got home we got started. We started with the dishwasher first. We had to take out a cabinet, move one down, and put the dishwasher in. Sounds easy enough right? NO OF COURSE NOT!! The previous owners had put down new flooring too. What they did was just put down the floor and put a new toe board around the cabinets to cover gaps. So we had to tear up not only one but two toe boards and some of the floor to just get the cabinet out. We should have known that this was going to be harder then we thought. We both had Tuesday off so we were going to hit it hard the next day. We started with the floor. They had put down what I had thought were peel and stick tiles. Well they weren't! They had glues them down hard core to the previous tiles so we had to get scrapers out and try to peel them up. But of course the bottom tiles started coming up too! So that left us with some holes in the floor. We were able to fix them with the old tiles. One problem fix! Then when we peeled up the tiles the floor was SO incredibly sticky! We had to put down the foam padding for under the laminate floor in sections just to move on. We layed them in their three feet wide sections. Another problem fix! But by this time Blake and I are fighting! He did not understand what I meant about laying the foam down. So I was being a bossy bitch and he was just being a stupid mean prik!!! We didn't talk for a while to each other.
Terry was able to come over and look at the dishwasher for us. It was a little to much for Blake to do on his own. Well of course there were more parts we needed for it so he's going to pick them up for us. My dad was able to also come over and help us start the flooring. I love the way it looks. We were able to finish the floor at 1:45am and not kill each other! The floor came out great! I love it!! Now my house is another story. I thought we didn't have that much in our kitchen but our dining room still looks like a tornado went through it.

Annabelle has been a little grumpy butt lately! She'll just wines the whole day. She wants you to be interacting with and held all the time and we just don't have time to do that. The other night I found a way to keep her preoccupied. Let her watch TV!! I know it sound funny but she will sit in front of the TV and watch it quietly. Last night she watched Jay Leno and Unwrapped. Some comedy and a little educational! LOL This morning she watched the classic Tom and Jerry Show for the first time with daddy. It's funny to hear her laugh at it. I know she doesn't know what it means but she thinks something is funny!!

Dogiesitting!

My parents went on vacation this week to Pennsylvania. My dads brother owns a gorgeous piece of land there. That meant I was stuck with the mutts! Blake wasn't to happy that my brothers didn't help. But Ben did offer to watch them Monday thru Wednesday. I just figured I watch them since I got called off Monday. Taylor of course had to work three days this week, so we also had Ryder. For those of you who don't know that's Duke, Cooper, Ryder, Trigger and a three month old! A prity full house! They all had a ruff time as you can see! LOL They were all good! The only problem I had was with my dog. Trigger ran off Thursday night and had to spend all night outside. My house now smells like dog, so tomorrow I'm definitely cleaning to carpets! I'm really glad that Belle did so well with all of them in her face wanting to give her kisses. We are definitely dog lovers. Belle has cousins and great-cousins that are all dogs so she's kind of stuck with them!

Babysitting!

Well I told you that this week I baby(dogie)-sat my parents and brothers dogs but now I've up graded to humans. Tonight I watched Kendall Williams (my best friends daughter) while they went to an anniversary party. We all had so much fun! Kendall feed Trigger her Pb&j so I made her a grilled cheese. She wanted to be able to see Belle so she sat up on the table with her. She also helped give Belle a bath. She had her own bucket of water to clean Belle with. She did a vary good job on cleaning her off! They sat vary good and watched Bambi, The Loin King, and (my favorite) Beauty and the Beast! We ate popcorn and had a movie night. It was alot of fun! I think I could handle a three year old and a three month old all at the same time!! (Who know? LOL) Kendall and Belle are definitely BFF!! They love each other so much-like sisters! We can't wait to hang out again!

We all know that the Cubs aren't doing to good. Not a big shock! Belle was going over to Grandp' Parker that night to be watched so we thought it would be good to get in some wear time of our Cubbie onesie. She is not happy to hear when they lose. As you can see! GO CUBS GO, GO CUBS GO, HAY CHICAGO WHAT TO YOU SAY? ARE YOU GOING TO LOSE TODAY?!! LOL!

Girls Brunch

A few girlfriends from work and I got together this morning at Denny's in Pekin. It was nice to talk with other mother and catch up on all the B-S at work. We are having alot of it right now. There are three of us with babies. Danielle has the newest one. A boy named Jordan. She has a three year old named Jax. Then there's Teri with Morgan, six months and Belle three months. Do you know what the funny thing is? Morgan and Belle are the exact same size! Morgan has a pound on Belle but their the same length. Belle will be like her me i guess. Able the carry her weight well. We had a fun time with the girls and can't wait to do it soon! We have a date set for October 14 for a girls day! We are having a surprise gift for Danielle since she had another boy. We still wanted to celebrate! The gift is somewhat for all of us too! Belle and I did some grocery shopping and let me tell you that wasn't cheap! But we did get to see Blake before he went off to work. It's his long weekend so we won't see him much.

Belle caught her first fish

We all headed to the farm this afternoon. Blake wanted to check his trail camera for pictures of deer. We all went fishing. Belle was in her car seat to start with. Then she got mad so I took her out and was holding her. I wanted to still fish so I held her and threw a green head jig. I've been trying to perfect it. On the second cast we caught one. We had a winner! It was HUGE! for Belle. She was sooo excited and happy to be able to go fishing let alone to get a fish. Daddy was so proud.! Over all the fishing wasn't to good. I caught a big 8 ouncer and Blake got one about 12 oz. Over all Belle had fun on the paddle boat.

Blake checked his trail camera and look at what the boys have to look forward too! The first picture has two bucks, left one has really nice antlers and the other is smaller. The second picture is a nice buck on the right with a dow. I can't wait for hunting season to hear all the BIG stories about these bucks that got away! LOL I did tell Blake we are running out of room on the wall for little antlers, so from here on out he's only allowed the BIG ONES!!

We got a roller!

So yesterday we were doing tummy time and Belle was looking around and talking to mommy. Then all of the sudden she got her leg up and pushed herself over. YAY! Blake was getting ready for work so he didn't see it. I rolled her back to her tummy and tried to let her do it again. She rolled to her side for a second then finished it off. She was giddy and happy. Smiling at me when she saw me! I was so excited for her! I tried to grab the video camera but by then she wasn't having anymore of it. But mommy was vary proud of her big girl. She's found her fingers and love to play with them, so I knew it was only time before she did something big!

Hi Everyone

Hi everyone! We love you all and miss you too! I know it's been a while. Sorry! We've been getting alot of out door time in while it's still nice. Belle went to her first auction on Saturday. She wanted a bike but it went for WAY to much! Blake got a lawn sweeper and Brent an extension ladder. There were so many people there. Belle is getting big. She's been able to hold her head up alot better. She has found her hands. She will grab her shirt and pull on it. You can see the picture where she pulled it up to her face. She likes to suck on them. Blake was practicing his bow so we sat outside, she loves the warm weather. We also have my parents dogs this week while their on vacation. Blake's not to happy but I love them! Belle already loves to watch the dogs! I think it's all their different colors and the noise they make when they're playing. She'll be able to ride Duke before long. Belle loves her baths. Her hair is getting so long and curly so I combed it straight up. Saturday Blake and I went for a motorcycle ride so Grandparent Parkers watched her. They also had cousin Josie. Belle loves her cousin giving her kisses and Eskimo kisses (she'll say "nose, nose, nose" while rubbing their noses together) it's so adorable!! But they all went up to the park to play and Belle got her first swing ride. Here are some adorable pics of her so I hope you enjoy!

We are lucky to be alive!!

Tonight we all went to the lake like any other time. Well we had a few things happen that did not need to happen! Blake was driving the boat while my dad skied. We were coming out of a turn and the boat felt like it was going to flip! We were scared to death. We didn't even know why it happened. We thought it was the moder not in the water enough. Well the next time my dad went we were going the opposite way and right about out of the turn the boat almost capsized. We stopped and I told my dad that we would have to take Belle off the boat and he needed to figure out that was going wrong before she could get back on. It seriously scared the s*$# out of us!! My heart was racing and I thought here we go. How do I save Belle if we go over? We got her off and my dad took it for a run and he couldn't find anything wrong. We think Blake was letting go of the wheel out of the turns and it was pulling itself back to the right to fast. He needed to keep a hold of the wheel the whole time. It's not like steering a car. But besides that we had an awesome time at the lake. Blake slalomed skied for the first time. (Skiing on one) I was SO proud of him. It's not an easy thing to do and he went for it all on this own.

Hangin' with Mommy!

Blake had to work tonight. There were guys that took vacation so he filled in. Belle and I had fun tonight. I cooked dinner, she got a bath, we watched TV, and just hung out! She has been more tired then usually after having her shots yesterday. She slept alot during the day and is now fighting pooping and a little bit whinny. But she's still being a good girl. She hasn't pooped in two days so tomorrow dad and mom look out here it comes!! I know it isn't anything but Belle will pull her bink out of her mouth and hold it in her right hand. I don't think she realizes that she is holding it but it is still cool to see her pull it out and holding it! She's also drooling more then usual. She'll go days and then all of the sudden drool like a faucet. There are some fun pics of us hangen' tonight!!
