First Bath!

Since Belle gets so messy we just had to give her a bath! It was her first bath. She had an exciting and memorial first one. Daddy started off getting her undressed and took her diaper off of her. She then proceeded to pee everywhere. It was a big pee. Belle wasn't to sure about the bath at first but with the help of daddies finger it was all good. We were able to wash her from head to her little toes. Blake also enjoyed the view during the bath of mommies huge tata's. After everything was over we got her dressed. In making sure that the diaper was on good around her legs I stuck my finger in some mustard? She had pooped! Ya pee and poop all in one sitting! We couldn't be happier. I love getting a good shower so I'm not surprised that she loves hers too. Her hair after drying became a little fro like daddies. She's her daddies girl!

Delivery!

Like I said before I was really happy with my delivery. Blake and I were watching Bourne Ultimatum and I started to feel some slit contractions so I timed them. At about 9:30pm they were coming every fifteen minutes and not getting worse. When the movie got over I then told Blake that for the last hour I'd been feeling things like a contraction. We went up stairs to get ready for bed and just watch some TV before hand. That's when we really started to time them out. They started to get closer and more strong. They were starting in the front and half way through would wrap around my back. I sat on a heating pad that helped with that back pain. Blake asked should I take a shower and shave just in case? Hell ya! I knew it was on and gunna happen! I wanted Blake to try and get some sleep so I moved to the floor, got on all four, and used our birthing ball. That helped with the pain but then I realized that it made my contractions come ever three minutes and lasting around a minute long. That's when I got nervous. Am I doing this? Is it really starting? Am I going to have my baby? It was about 3am in the morning and I called my friend Kami who was part of my support group to ask if or when I should go to the hospital? She said to call Teri and ask her what she thought? Teri, who works on labor and delivery was supposed to be working that night. Of course she got called off! But the nurse did say that it sounded like I was in labor and with me being six days over due that it would be good to just come in and get checked.
There we were at 4am in the morning going to the hospital. I was so proud of Blake! On the way to the hospital he was able to hit EVERY pot hole in between Glasford and Peoria! When we got to the hospital they put us in a room and I got all dress up. They ask you so many questions. Then they checked me. I was at 3cm. They went ahead and admitted me. Then a Dr. that was just a ball of fire can in and checked me too. I was on a roll and looking good. My contractions were coming prity good by about 8am. I was breathing through them but they were still wrapping around my back. Kami was massaging this hot bag on my back to try and help. Kami was an amazing support person. She helped me with what ever I needed and kept every one up to date with txt. I would have a normal contraction that would start in the front and move to the back and they lasted about a minute. When the contraction went away my back just killed for about another minute. That was going to suck if I really wanted to go all natural. If I would make it to transition, were they're coming every minute with about a minute to recover I would die. Dr Kindred was off so I saw his on call Dr. Dr. Ma (who just so happened to be Teri's Dr. and she loves him so I wasn't to upset) He talked to me about other forms of pain relief. There's this IV med that would get rid of the edge. It would probably help me sleep. I had been up since 11am Friday morning and it's now 8am Saturday. So I opted for that. Blake and I both took naps! Well I didn't really FALL asleep but I was able to relax and get rejuvenated. When I got up my contractions slowed down and weren't to strong. But they were out of my back!! Kami and I decided to get up and walk the halls for a bit. That really didn't do much so I had to decide did I want to get my water broke or just start Putocin? I opted for the Putocin. I thought that if it would start my contractions back up then I'd be good. Well it did just that! Blake, Kami, and I were all guessing on when I would have this kid? Kami said 2pm, I said 4pm, and Blake took the middle time between us. Well that didn't work out but was funny! By the time the Putocin started to kick in they broke my water. Then I was trying every position, sitting, laying, walking, and all fours to help with as pain relief. The nurse suggested I try the side laying position I was in earlier. That made baby vary mad. She started to move down and the contraction went from "Oh G-manilly" to F@%$". That's when Blake know I was in alot of pain. I was able to breath through the other contractions but them there there were no breathing excites that would help. I was getting really dry mouthed and a little light headed and needed some oxygen help. The nurse made me a little made because she asked me three times did I want an epidural? The anosteiologist was on the floor if I did? This is the last time I can ask? Even though I specifically said I wanted to go natural. So I asked for something to take the edge off. I had to go to the bathroom and I was in so much pain. Teri arrived and helped me breath through a few contractions. By then I felt like I was losing my mind. Maybe a little disoriented! Thank God for Teri! My nurse at the time was useless. I had them check me to see if I was making any progress. I was up to 6cm. I thought that was good for the time it took. Blake and I talked earlier about if I did go with an epidural when I wanted it, and as long as I could make it to a 6 I would maybe consider it. Then the contractions were killer and I was ready for some relief so I told them I would go with an epidural. Blake was also vary addiment for me to get it too.

The nurses had a shift change and we got Jody. She was heaven sent. When they were giving me the epidural she was talking me through with reminders of slow deep breaths. The meds kicked in and I was back to myself. Everyone was making fun of me 'cuz I was cheesing and in a good mood. Having the meds were a weird feeling. My legs felt like they weighted as much as an elephants and my butt, well I know that's big but man, it was so numb. I could move them but it took alot of effort. They did let me sit up which was nice. It felt so much better. I feel asleep for a while. When I woke up it felt like I was out for only fifteen minutes but it was more like a couple of hours. The bad thing is that my epidural started to wear off. They tried to lay me on my side move the meds around but it didn't work. The contractions weren't that painful I could just feel them coming on and my belly getting hard. They did try to give me more meds but it just made my legs and butt completely numb and immobile. It was funny! They moved me to all fours with my head on a pillow to move the meds around but getting there was a huge production. I had Blake lifting and turning me up while Kami and the nurse, Jody moved my legs under me. I couldn't feel my knees so I started to slide down, like the splits. But the position was heavenly. I loved it! When the nurse ask if I could move so she could check me I asked if I could stay there for a little long? She laughed and said I was the first person she knew that want to stay there.
I had something in the way as the babies head was coming down that I needed to move to help deliver. She had me push to see if we could move and work the baby down. She was vary impressed with how well I did pushing that she thought I'd be done quick. That so wasn't the case. We then started another poll of how many pushes it would take to get the kid out. Kami said three. I think she jenisted me! It was an hour and a half of pushing. Teri was awesome counting me down, telling me to take a deep breath and bare down! Blake would in between put a cool wash cloth on my forehead that helped me from over heating. The pressure and contractions got worse I did throw up, twice. I was able to have Dr. Kindred deliver. The pain changed as her head was coming out. I did have to push hard again to get her shoulders out. They were wide and a little wedged in. I couldn't see her but Kami and Teri at the same time screamed "IT'S A GIRL!!!" Blake was so over whelmed with emotion. To see this amazing little person that he helped create was moving. She had arrived his little princes. I was able to have a few moments with her as the worked on me. I did tear. I wanted to tear more naturally 'cuz the recovery is better. They did take her to get measured and weighted. As they were measuring her she had a lovely poop! How embarrassed will she be when she's older and looking at these pictures? But the thing that got me the most was when they weighted her. Yet again we all started guessing how much we all thought. I knew she was at least a good 8.5lbs. When Teri told me 9lb. 4.7oz I was in total shock. My mom has 9lbers not me!! That's a infant not a new born! Now I know why I was so enormous! She was! Over all I wouldn't change a thing about my labor and delivery. I surprised myself with how well I took and dealt with the pain. All the decisions I had to make I'm happy with the outcome. I now have an amazingly beautiful healthy baby girl that I love more then I thought a person could. I love Blake a little more too. This was an incredible experience and I would never have wanted to do it without him. He is the ultimate love of my life!

We would like to thank everyone that came out to see us in the hospital. We were surrounded by so much love. We want to share her with everyone.

Annabelle Paige Parker

Annabelle Paige Parker arrived at 11:34pm on June 20, 2009 weighting in at a whopping 9lbs. 4.7oz. We went into the hospital at 4 o'clock in the morning. I was able to hold out till I was at 6cm. dilated but then had to get an epidural at about 4pm. That's okay cuz I was happy with how my whole labor experience went. I had an awesome support group there for me and Blake was just superb!

Belle was such a good girl through the whole labor. We had no complications with her. She came out just as good and calm. She did come out poopen. It was funny! She loves her fingers. She's been sucking on them ever since she came out. We are doing okay with breastfeeding. I need to us a nipple shield to help her latch but she's feeding good with it. She is already smiling and making faces at people. It seen to me that she'll be a good baby. Well I can only hope right!! It is late and I just wanted everyone to know she arrived and to see some pictures of out precious! We will post more about the labor and some good pictures for you all.

We have TWINS!

Yes you are all probably surprised to find out that we have twins! We had exciting visitors today. A mommy deer and her babies came out to play. Blake and I saw her in the food plot and when he ran up stairs to get the camera he realized she's not alone. She had with her two brand new babies. They were so small compared to her. One was a brave little soul he came out to the yard and was playing. I don't think the mom was to happy. She followed after it. It's really frustrating to see that the deer already have their kids and mine just wont come. It does make it more exciting to see all the new babies, human or animals.

40 Weeks & 4 Days

Well for all of you that are still wondering why you haven't gotten a call saying I've had the baby that's BECAUSE I HAVEN'T!!! Yes I am still pregnant!! This kid is just happy and content chilling out inside. I still am getting alot of movement so I know it's in there! LOL We had another Dr.s appointment today. I got a non stress test for the baby. All is good there. Then we had to get a sonogram to measure the fluid around baby. All of that was good. She said that the babies head is in the right position. It's size is about 7lbs 9oz. I'm thinking its more over 8lbs. There is no way I'm having a small baby!!! They do say it's harder to get a good reading on weight closer to the end. But the most exciting news of all is that he said I'm at a 2.5-3cm dilated. I keep going up but without some contractions nothing will happen. We set up another appointment for Tuesday to really talk about what we want to do. He had no problem giving me threw the weekend to see if I go naturally but he's not gunna give me to much longer. He said I can go anytime! I know if I had a few contractions then I'll be off for the races. Just keep praying for me I'm getting more and more wore out.
The picture is from Ben's graduation with my mom and aunt!

Our Second Anniversary!

Blake and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary today. We really didn't want to have the kid on OUR special day. We want it to have a special day all to itself. I'm still feeling the same, a little more anxious the longer it's making me wait! But GOOD! We had an exciting fun filled day! I'm not quit sure what is up with this day but why does it always have to be the hottest bloody day of the year? Blake was sweating like a pig on our wedding day and why should today be any different. I'm not sure if this is a tradition he's liking? Well we went to grandma Bevo's house to dig up some scrubs to transplant at our house. He was only able to get two out of five 'cuz it was so hot. We all had a good time chatting. We also wanted to get some apple trees for our house but Lowes didn't have any. So we settled for Walmart Clearance! They only had two but it's a good start. Lets just pray and keep our fingers crossed that these Clearance trees will do good. We have gone threw four trees in our front yard that just won't make it. I want some fruit dang it!! We finally put together Blakes HUGE rack he killed last year! I caught him a few times staring but I can't blame him. It's HUGE!!! If he keeps adding to the wall we're going to run out of room, especially if they're all that big!!

D-DAY!

Can you even believe that I'm due today? I seemed just like yesterday I found out. I never thought today would come and now I don't think this baby will come! I absolutely LOVE being pregnant! I love the big belly and boobs!! Pregnant women are so beautiful and I'm so glad I was one of those. Oh ya but we can't forget Blake's hair! It's so long and major frowish that I can not help but laugh at it. I am getting bored not working with nothing to do but I've been trying everything to get this kid out. We've tried eating spicy foods, pineapple, walking, caffeine and other fun things-Wink!Wink! (For those under age!) But nothing!
We do have exciting things going on at the Parker house! We have crazy house guest. Trigger thinks some are his new best friend. We have hummingbirds, frogs, birdies, and even molls. But thank God we got rid of Blake's favorite the snakes!! We hope you enjoy our new guest as much as us!
