Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Drew Heisel

We want to congratulate the new Mr. and Mrs. Drew Heisel. One of Blake's friends from high school got married today. The interesting thing is Blake and Drew fell out of contact for a while after school. The week before our wedding Blake went to Eric Turners wedding. In the same building there was another wedding going on. It just so happened that Drew was at that one. They ran into each other and caught back up. Blake invited them to ours. So the next weekend they came and I got to meet his long lost friend. What a small world? You never know who you'll run into? They've been able to stay in contact now. Drew and Amanda came over and meet Belle a little after she was born. They are such a lovely couple! I love to see people so in love and genuinely happy to find that special someone! I hope that for everyone! Tonight Blake and Belle had their first Father/Daughter dance. It was so precious to watch. Belle loves her daddy so much!

We had some hot stuffed baby this evening!

Last night before Blake went to work he was kind enough to make us a fire! It got so hot in the house that Blake and Belle had to strip down to their scivies! I have proof that it got real hot! Yes that is 80 degrees! I'm hating the cold aready but LOVING my wood burner! Belle and I both are warm blooded girls!

Meet the 70's Baby!

For those of you that don't know my mom is definitely a 70's child. Her and my Aunt Lisa always rock out to 70's music whenever I'm with them. Belle had gotten this sleeper from Debbie Walker at her baby shower. She is big enough to fit into it now. She looks so adorable in it. I think it fits her personality well. Layed back, easy going, and ready to have some fun. All we needed was some music!

I was cleaning out Belle's room putting cloths away that she's already grow out of and pulling out her warm winter cloths. (seeing how the high today was mid-50's) I came across this book of hers. It is one of those that is grumpily and makes some noise. She loved it! She is getting better with using her hands. She definitely has the hands to mouth thing down.

Bubbles!

I think everyone knows by now how much Belle loves her baths! She has started to splash and kick. She gets her butt moving and squirm so much. Tonight Blake made her her vary first bubble bath and she loved it!! She liked the bubbles all over her face. Okay the bubbles on her face were more for our amusement but she looked so cute! She wanted to eat them. We just can't wait for her to sit up and play with the water from the facet. All we needed tonight was a rubber ducky!

Where did mommy go?

For those of you that don't know but having a kid changes you on many levels! For the mother it makes our hips wider, causes the boobs to sag, and for us to carry a little extra weight around with us. I always thought that I would never be able to loose the baby weight. That I would always look like I was still preggers. (For those of you that don't remember how big I got I was ENORMOUS!) But for the last two weeks I've been working out using this video. It's called P90X. It's an extreme workout that focuses on different muscles on different days. Like one day you'll do legs and back and another shoulder and biceps. There is also plyometrics and that is where you incorporate jumping to us every muscle in your body. Like doing a squat and then jumping as you come up then back down to a squat. It uses ever muscle in your legs. It's Xtreme and awesome. Like I said I've only been doing it for two weeks and I'm down seven pound. If I went to my ob-gyn they would say I've lost all my baby weight. When I went for my first appointment I was like eight weeks along and had gained some water wight. Like I said I was huge but all baby! But now I can fit back into my pre-baby jeans. I was ecstatic when I pulled them over my hips and was able to button them! Heck Ya! I still have two more weeks left but there may be nothing of me left by then? I'll let you all know how I'm doing!

We're done? Maybe!

Last night Terry came over and helped Blake with finishing the dishwasher installation. They had to put in new plumbing and drain. Of course nothing we do is easy! We did have to call in reinforcement - Brad- to help but they all got it done. The house wasn't wired for electricity to the dishwasher so that's why he helped. I'd be so mad if our house went up 'cuz of the new dishwasher! So Thank You Brad for your help. I was able to do a load of dishes without it leaking. Always a good sign! I do have to say that now Blake may want to change the counter top. I wanted one to begin with but I'll pick my battles and the floor and dishwasher were more important then a new counter top. My counter top has to be as old as the house. It has a piece of laminate missing like someone burned it, there are cuts in it and it stains really easily. If we spill Kool Aid it leaves a stain and won't come up. So I think we're going to price some out and go from there. I'm just happy he sees it too! Or maybe Debbie gave him a hint or two? But the big parts are done! I love my new floor and dishwasher. Modern technology is AWESOME!! I was looking through our pictures and found one of the kitchen before we moved in. I'm not quite sure what they were thinking but they definitely had no design taste! Not sure what they were going for with the walls but it didn't turn out good!!

I do want to send out a special Thank You note to Grandpa Terry for helping! I am sure that it wouldn't of gotten done without his help! Or gotten done right? And Papa Ken for helping with the flooring! Belle will be happy to know that when she starts to crawl that the floor is new and clean! Ya'll are always there for us when we need you and we are all vary grateful for your helping hands! Thank you!

Deer BEWARE!

Today officially begins hunting session. For all of you hunters out there I'd just like to wish you all the luck in the world and tell you to be careful. SAFETY FIRST!! This morning it all began for a Blake and Bryant. They braved the weather to get out there and to be the firsts to get the big one! From what I understand Bry was the only one to get some action. He got BLOWN!! (it's nothing naughty it's when a deer smells you and blows it's nose to let others know your there) Blake saw a possum and that's it. The wild hunter I know! He is going behind our house tonight in hopes of getting another deer on our land. It's been raining and cold here all day long. He's braver then I am. I also want to remind ya'll that you have to go hunting to also get something! LOL The important thing is is I hope everyone has fun and is safe. Good Hunting! Belle and I are staying in our p-jays. Oh maybe well have a fire tonight?

This is another lovely deer from the "Farm". Go get 'em boys!
