Happy Birthday Daddy!

I don't want to end today with out acknowledging that it's Blake's 28th Birthday! Belle and I baked him his favorite cake, Walnut cake with caramel icing! (I wish I has pics 'cuz it was so sweet. She had her own spatula and hot oven mit.) And for dinner I picked him up a Monical's personal pan pizza with a salad ('cuz Blake loves their French dressing) and a Diet Pepsi! His mom normally makes or gets what ever the boys want for their birthday but she went out of town to see Jessica's game so I thought we weren't doing it. And when I mentioned the idea of having leftover again he cringed. So I wanted to make sure it was a special day for our special guy and got him his pizza. But all to find out that pizza it's still on, it was moved to Tuesday and no one told me! But that's okay it's the thought that counts right?! We did get Blake a new nice Bears long sleeve t-shirt and a great "classic Blake" card. It was a boy on the front picking his nose and it said "To make this birthday special I want you to let loss and have fun... (open) So put a bogey in it!" I also added - "That I picked a winner!" Hilarious I know!! The photo is a picture of my mom giving him his gift at Thanksgiving.

Story Time!

A few days ago this happened and I just have to share it! Let me set it up for you. Belle LOVES books! So one day she kept wanting me to read her this same book over and over and over again, so I told her to go get her baby "Violet" and read to her. - So she pulled up her chair and grabbed her baby and started reading to her! OH MY GOODNESS HOW PRECIOUS! She was pointing out the dog and saying dog as she looked at Violet. I was so impressed! The next thing I know she had taken Violet and went into her tent on her couch and was reading to her in there. She had baby on her lap and had the book up as to be reading! I wanted to die! She is so loving and so smart! She amazes me all the time with things she can do. But she loves her baby "Violet". If you tell her that baby is cold and cover her up she'll grab the closes thing that she can cover her up with. A towel or a napkin anything. Even now when she's sitting on my lap I can say "Where is baby?" and she'll smack my stomach. Or "Give baby hugs and kisses!" she'll lean over and kiss and snuggle with my belly! She is so sweet! She's going to make a great big sis!

Our Happy Thanksgiving!

Blake and I decided to host Thanksgiving this year! We love that our house has all this room so we know everyone would have a great time. We had my family (mom, dad, and brothers) and my best friend, her husband and daughter all over. All of the food turned out great. We ran about a half an hour behind schedule on the eating but we had a few munchies for everyone and I don't think that's to bad for our first time! All the food turned out great! (Or so they told us!) But over all I love to have family over to enjoy the holiday's with. Blake, Belle and I did go over to the Parker's for the evening to see them. But Belle had such a blast playing with Kendal! They're going to be best friends! As is tradition we got a news paper full of all the hot deals for Black Friday. It was so precious, I caught Belle sitting next to Blake as he looked through the paper and it looked like she was trying to doing the same! That's my girl looking for the best deal! The last few photo's are of Belle eating some creamy pumkin pie and LOVING it! I do want to end with what I have to be thankful for! And it's long!




I think we through out the year need to still stop and remind ourselves that we all have a lot to be thankful for. I'm especially thankful for a great family! God has blessed me with a loving, doughting husband that I wouldn't give up for anything. He's also given me a healthy, beautiful little girl. Trigger. An awesome house that I can see my children grow up in and have many more holiday's in. A great job (for now) that I love. My health and the health of all my loved ones! That is my most important things I guess that I'm most thankful for! Our health and happiness! Everything else is just a bonus. I know that with out those everything else is just not important!

First Haircut!

I've been wanting to take Annabelle to get her haircut for a little while. So I made us an appointment to both get it done. She went first! She had really long hair on the top of her head that I wanted cut and the rest just trimmed and shaped. She did great though the cut. We gave her a sucker and she was in hog heaven! Tiffany did a great job with getting it all cut with her moving. She had a little bit of dark hair left on the tips of her hair from her being a baby that we saved for her baby book. Over all I think it looks great! Her curls will be seen better. I got mine done next and the whole time she kept going over to the sucker bowl and crying "Sucker!" It was so pitiful!

All Done!

29 Weeks

I am almost 30 weeks along! I had my doctor's appointment yesterday! We got a 3D sonogram on baby #2! We did it with Belle and loved it. The technology is amazing and it's incredible to see the baby as if it's already here. The baby looked like Annabelle did. It has Blake's nose again. The nurse showed us the baby's feet, legs, none of the good, it's belly, and of course it's hands and face. We got to see the baby smile at us! It's just incredible to see the baby have all five fingers and toes, see it's little ears and nose, and watch it move on camera as it's moving in my belly. I did gain 6 lbs this last month. Like I said I'm only 29 weeks but I ask how I'm measuring and I'm 33cm. The rule of thumb is that you measure how ever many weeks you are. I'm WAY over! At this time with Belle I was only one week! The Dr. said that it's okay. He doesn't see me looking to big (as in weight distribution) and thought that it could be the sudden weather changes we've been having that's making me maybe retain some water. I was happy with six pounds 'cuz I thought it was going to be more like 8-9. I didn't have any questions to ask. I've been doing prity good. I did mention that I get more lower back pain, more like my syadic nerve. It will start in my back and make it's way down my butt. He said that with my belly getting bigger it's putting more strain on my back and if the baby gets in a bad position that can cause the pain. But over all this pregnancy has been like Annabelle's, SMOOTH and PREFECT! We did hit a little bit on when I can go. I'm thinking I'm going to have to be induced. Belle can late and this one could too. He said he'd be fine with that. He just doesn't like doing first time mom's 'cuz it puts more strain on them but with it being my second it could be better! I will go every two weeks now until 36 weeks then I'll go every week. Can ya'll believe it I'm in the final stretch!
