Happy Independence Day

We had a great Independence Day! The girls and I went with my family to the lake in the morning. But that night Blake was off so we ventured out to the Peoria riverfront fireworks. I wasn't to sure about it 'cuz it was crazy hot and I didn't want to deal with the crowds. But we scoped out the parking, went and eat and then went back. We found some opened grass and parked our blanket!! The fireworks were great! Peoria has a great show! Belle loved it! Whitney I thought was doing great but Blake poked me to look at her. She had her hands over her eyes. So cute! So I held my hands over her ears and she was much better, eyes open! One of the last fireworks went off wrong it was one of those hangers and it was literally less the ten feet away. Slightly scary!

Belle's First Theater Movie!

Tonight I took Belle to see her first movie. It was supposed to be a Daddy and Daughter Date but when I got back from my workout Blake wasn't feeling great so he had to cancel. He felt horrible to cancel!! I took her to see Brave. She was sooo sooo excited to go to the movie. She know she had to be good and us her inside voice. We of course got popcorn and a drink. She herself probably ate half or more of the bag of popcorn. She was so excited when the lights went down, she knew that the movie was starting. She did awesome though the movie. They had booster seats that she got to sit in. There was a slightly scary part and she just wanted to sit on my lap. On the car ride home she talked about the movie the whole way!! She's needs to stop!! Growing!!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Annabelle!!

Can you believe it but our little girl is now a year older! 3!! Wow!! But we had a great night! We keep it small, just family. We had it on a Wednesday night after everyone got off of work. It made for a more intament and a relaxing time. We did have a theme! What other then Princess!! We had all the kids dress up in costumes. I really wanted to find a Shrek costume for Blake but I just didn't have enough time, but there are still more birthdays to come so may be next time!! But Belle had her Belle costume, dress up shoes, and a Princess crown to top it all off! Whitney was in Rapunzel (Tangled) and a crown but she really liked Belle's crown better! Of course! Josie, Ogdan and Nash all dressed up, even Jenny too!! I did make the cake! A Belle Cake! It turned out better then I thought it would. Belle got so many great gifts! Grandma and Grandpa Parker got her a picnic table. They brought it over early so we could us it. Belle had to close her eyes as Grandpa brought it in. She was quit happy to see it. Also we've been holding a chair Nana had bought her. The girls have both been trying to play on it so it was exciting to her to finally get it! She loved it! In the pictures she is "posing" for pictures in her chair! It was to funny, crossing her legs to hands on hips! She's a funny girl! She got many great gifts from everyone. A funny part was when Belle was opening up her gifts Elijah snuck over and stole her chair! He just had to check out this cool blue chair!! Blake and I got her a Radio Flyer Wagon! All the kids wanted to do the rest of the night was to be pushed around the yard in it! The party was wonderful and Belle had an amazing time.

Sick Girls!

I came home from work a week ago and Belle had a slight fever. It was a rough night with her waking up so I let her sleep on the couch till I went to bed. She looked so peaceful so I just left her stay there. When I woke up to feed Whitney she was missing. She had moved to the ground and was between the couches, sound asleep! Then when Blake got home from work she had put herself back in her bed. I think she still sleep walks! Then a few days later Whitney had a fever. I think her sis more do to her teething. She has all molars coming in and they're taking there time. But like always she's a snuggle bug!

Tent!!

On Saturday morning I thought that it would be fun to make a tent for the girls. They LOVED it!! The picture of Whitney in the tent didn't turn out to good but if you can make out how big her smile is, you'll see how much fun she had!!

Phone Thief!

Belle is crazy over my phone. Blake hates that she can work it better then him. But she'll take it all the time and watch videos or look at all the different pictures. It's hilarious to see her laugh at herself. When I ask "what's so funny?" She giggles and tells me "Annabelle is so funny!" It's so crazy how big she is and how intelligent she is!

Summer Sucker!

What kid doesn't love a sucker? Belle knows that every time we go see Nana she gets a sucker. This day she gave me a few extra to hold on to "for later". So when we got home they had at it. They "cheers" everything! It's really cute to see them cheers just about anything. Today it's suckers! Enjoy Summer!
