I did get a little worried the other day! On Wednesday I met up with a friend for lunch and thought I was having some contraction but nothing regular. We went for a walk and enjoyed the beautiful day. Then that after noon I went with my dad and Taylor to Canton Lake for some boating (hopefully to bounce the kid out). I hadn't really felt the kid move all day, vary little if any. So I went home to relax and see if it would wake up and still nothing. It has a routine where it wakes up at about 6am when daddy's getting home and NOTHING! I drank some water to see if it would move but there was only like three moves and it quit. So I was getting nervous. I called my Dr.'s office and they told me to come in.
We did! They gave the baby a none stress test. That's were they hook you up to the machine that measures the heart beat of the baby and to see if I was having contractions. At first she couldn't find a good heart beat. She did eventually! Right before she left she used this vibrator that's supposed to get a reaction out of the baby. Well let me tell you she it the kid perfectly on the butt and it did not like that!! It's heart rate JUMPED and it FREAKED out! She asked if either of us had a temper? Blake NO!! She let us know that it would eventually calm down and go back to normal and she would be back to check up on me in 10-15 min. Well when she returned it just started to calm back down. "OH it really didn't like that!" It did go back to a normal rate and they said everything was good. We got to see the Dr. who realized that I wasn't supposed to be there that day. I explained everything and he said that at the end babies will sleep more when their preparing to come out. But it was good to call 'cuz there is still that chance of still births. I wanted him to check me. Why not lets see if I've changed at all? He said he'd definitely would call me at 2cm. He also stripped my membranes. We hope that that will encourage contractions. He said if I wanted to be induced he's be fine with that since I've shown enough progress. I told him lets give it 'till after my due date and see. I will probably go in on Tuesday if this kid isn't here by then!

39 Weeks
Well who can believe that I'm still waiting? I never thought I'd go this long. I thought I'd be having this kid two weeks ago but obviously its really patent like it's dad. The Dr. said that I'm almost at 2cm. but won't call me there. The baby is in a good position now. But ya'll should see my feet! Really they're swollen beyond recognition!! It used to be just my ankles and it would go away, but this weekend I was on them for to long and now my toes look like little sausages and the top of my feet are puffed out. If I pull my toes back you can see the loss of circulations. My toes and ankles turn white. He told me to go home and put my feet up. Enjoy being lazy while I can 'cuz once it's here there's no more of that. I could feel the water moving from my feet. What a weird sensation? When he measured me I'm now 39, one less then last week. He thinks the baby could be dropping more.
But really kid? Come on! You're killen' me here!! I definitely don't wish away my pregnancy but to be able to meet my little "P" is exciting. I know Blake still loves to feel it move and squirm. It's completely out of room now, that when it moves it's vary noticeable. I know it's all in do time. My baby will come! Let's just hope Blake isn't at work when it happens! That will be a call he'll never forget and the longest drive home! I am taking recommendations for home remedies to help encourage the kid to come out. If anyone has ANY ideas I'll try everything once!! The good 'ole stand bye just hasn't worked. They've been fun but NOTHING!!

37 Weeks
It's almost here! I know I keep saying that, but with each week passing I get more and more excited! I went in to see the Doc. yesterday. I actually saw his nurse practitioner, Diane. I've seen her before for "other thing". She said that my belly was measuring at a 37. I misunderstood Doc. Kindred last week he measured me at a 39. She said that I could of had a full bladder or something. I wander if it's cuz the baby's dropping? But I'm still right on schedule. Oh ya I only gained a pound last week. YEAH!!! She did also check me and I'm still at a 1cm. but I have thinned out and am about 60% efface. So more forward progress. That's what I love to see! Well the bags are all packed just in case; all I need to add is the camera and my cell phone charger. We finished are birthing classes last night too. I am really glad we went they had so much good information that both me and Blake needed to learn. We both feel so much more prepared for this.

Baby Shower
I was able to get everything that I needed before the baby. I like to be prepared so having these things will help ease my mind. Grandma Debbie got us some adorable moccasins from her trip to Arizona. She also got our Pack N Play/Bassinet. And seeing it up in our room is really making it set in. Aunt Lisa got us this cute jumper that's from Harley that on the butt it said "Catch me if you can" with little booties. My gang from work went in and got us our "travel system"/stroller that is a lot nicer then I thought. I did get alot of nice things, to many to spell out, but I'm so thankful for everything. I can't wait to use them all.
I can't forget my preciuos Trigger. Who was a good handsome man at the party!

36 Weeks
Can you see the eye is opened? It's hard to think that at any time we could be doing this! Having our precious little Parker! We're both ecstatic and a little nervous. We have been going to birthing classes (some know them as Lamaze classes) for the last three Tuesday nights. I was glad to have Blake be able to go to all of them with me. He is just as important as anything! I do think he is learning alot. He was hesitant at first but jumped in with both feet and hands. Last night we practiced breathing and different positions for during a contraction. He was amazing! So you all know I am planing on going all-natural! The teacher gave all of us a hand full of ice guys and girls and had us hold it for a "contraction" so everyone can feel a pain. You were supposed to breath throw the pain and relax. Try it, your hand will start to burn and hurt really badly. I never thought of that. That's an awesome way to practice with a distracting pain. Blake would rub my back with different toys to relieve the stress. It was nice getting a mini-massage. But over all I feel much more prepared for labor now that I know all these different things.
We also had our Doc's appointment too. He was out of the office on Monday so yesterday he was a little behind. I was fine with it but Blake was not a happy camper! We get our finale sonogram seeing if the baby is fully developed. The nurse said it has started to drop into my pelvic. It still has a head of hair. We were looking at the face and she said "it has it's eyes open" next thing it started to blink. You could see everything it was incredible. It's hand was up by it's face still. She also said "it's mouth is opened". She could see the tongue but I never saw it. I could see it opening and closing its mouth. All organs, lungs and the little heart are all developed. It's in the 54% and is measuring at 36 weeks. Right on time now! He was ahead a little bit ago. It only weighted 6lb. 1oz. but the doc said that my belly is measuring at 42 so the baby could weight more. Those can be off closer to the end of pregnancy but 15%. He examined me and I'm at 1cm. but am still thick. My cervix hasn't softened yet. Well so we're all good for GO! All I'm asking is that it comes after Saturday. That's my baby show and I still need a few things.
