We love Trigger!

Belle is such a great kid. She gets along with everyone sooo well. The funniest thing to see is her and Trigger. She'll "try" to take his ball from him but sometimes he wins. She still doesn't throw it to him, she'll put it back right back in his mouth but we'll get there. The other day I was crazy cleaning our house before we leave for vacation so I thought I'd be nice and give Trigger a treat for being so good. I told Annabelle to "Go give it to Trigger!" She couldn't even move a step before he had it out of her hands. She got made and ran over there and took it back. To funny! So the rest of the day she's take it from him just for him to steal it back. We also play chase with Trigger. Where we chase him around the dinning room. So when he had his bone and she wanted it she'd chase him around the table. It was so funny to see her running and giggling at him. They play so well together. He really is a great dog too with her. He does run her over every now and then but it just makes her stronger!
Hugs for Trigger!

Happy Birthday Carson!

We went today to celebrate Carson's 2nd Birthday! I had the wonderful opportunity to make her cake! The theme was Mickey and Minnie Mouse so I did a Minnie face. Trying to keep it girlie. The cake turned out awesome! Or so you can see! It's always fun for me to see a cake come together. They also had cupcakes too. I did a white base icing with the outline of mickey's face on top in black. I do want to thank Stevie and Jeff for the opportunity to make the cake. I would love to have my little bakery/pastry shoppe take off. So if any one would like a cake or any form of pastry's done call me!

Sick!

Yesterday Annabelle was not acting like herself. She just wanted to be held. I had to go to work so I left Blake to take care of her before he went to work too. He called saying she had a temperature of 99.0 under her arm pit. He gave her some Tylenol to help. She I guess was feeling fine at grandpar' Parker's for a while. When the medicine wore off she started not acting like herself again. When I got off work (and of all the times I was out of there late!) I went to pick Belle up she was definitely not acting like herself. She normally runs up to me. She just stayed in grandma's arms not reaching or moving towards me. I know something was definitely bad when I picked her up and she was burning up. It's not like her to be soooo hot! We went home and I called some friends. With it being 10:30 at night God bless them for picking up. They are both nurses and both instructed me that I had to take her temperature in her butt. I wasn't looking forward to doing that all by myself but it had to be done. She is used to sleeping on her tummy with her butt in the air. So I just undid her diaper and got it. She didn't even cry or try to move. She definitely was not feeling good! It read 104.0! I was freaking out. My friend reassured me that it's was okay. To give her more Tylenol and alot of fluids like apple juice. Wait an hour and see if the medicine helped. My other friend also said to call my pediatrician to see what the help line says. It's after hours so they route you to a hospital help line. They were crazy busy last night with alot of other sick babies. They finally called me back. The lady reassured me that a child her age can withstand a temperature of 108!!! They do recommend that if it stays up longer then 24 hours to go to our doctor. But just said what my friends told me give her plenty of fluids and medicine. I took her temperature an hour later and it was already down to 102.9. She was sleeping good so we all went to bed. She did wake up at around 2a.m. I just gave her some more to drink and rubbed her back and she feel right back to sleep. She is totally back to herself today running around like a crazy person. Good thing 'cuz we leave in a week for vacation and we don't want a sick baby!

Balloons at the Park

Last night we as a family ventured out for a great time. I had won tickets at work so all we had to get was a child ticket for Belle. It was up at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe. They had a lot of neat things to do. They had a children's area with rides, face painting, bouncers for little ones. It was fun for Belle! Earlier in the week I had a Family Day for work at Kartville. She got to experience a bounce for the first time there. So last night she would stand up and tried to bounce. She was having fun too just being bounced. They had some antique fire trucks on display. We got a few photo's for the firefighters in our lives! She's a natural! I really really wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride. It's on my bucket list! But they were really late getting started, the line at the end of the night was really long, and Belle did not like to hear the fire filling the balloon. It freaked her out. So we just left. We did bring a blanket to lay on the ground while they lit some of the balloon's. At night they did a "night glow". What when they all light the fires in the balloons to make the glow. It didn't really work. They could quit got into unison. They had a polar bear, a bold eagle, a show, and a lot of other regular balloons. A few did take flight. Belle was interested in what they were. She would look up at the sky and point them out. Blake and I got some dinner at the park and of course she thought she needed some too. You can't leave her out when your eating! Over all the night was beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a more lovely night! We had a blast!

Watermelon?

Everyone knows that watermelon is a staple in the summer time. I am not a big fan. (Ate to much and got sick on it as a kid and never really got over it!) But Blake just loves it. About as much as Annabelle! She seems to never get enough of it. So today for lunch after her scrambled eggs we ate the heck out of the watermelon in the fridge. I stripped her down to her diaper and let her go nuts! She loved it. She was a mess but she loved it!! She would eat the first few bits good then shove the rest in her mouth. If she couldn't chew she'd spit out what was to much. She looked like a chipmunk! By the end when she had her fill she started to squeeze the watermelon in her hands and that didn't make a mess!! It would dribble down her arm and all over. Her diaper was stained red by the end of lunch. And yes that is a black eye she has. We were playing this morning and she turned to move and waked her head on the table. She's definitely accident prone! But she's fine! She's tough!
"To Much!!"
Oh No! Push it out!

OMG! To Funny!

Today I put Annabelle down for her nap. I changed her butt before putting her down and it is hot in our house so I left her in just her diaper. She slept for about a half an hour then woke up crying. I thought I'll give her a few minutes to see if she'll fall back to sleep. Then I thought well maybe she undid her diaper. There's been times that if she has just a shirt on and no bottoms over her diaper she'll undo one side of the diaper. Nope! Not this time. I go in and she had the diaper on the ground and is crying as naked as the day she was born. OMG!! That was to funny. When I came in she stood up and just laughed! She knows! So I got the diaper back on, got her dressed, and back to bed!

Silly Girl!

Belle learns something new everyday. And lately it's been "Where's your belly?". She will lift up her shirt and smack her tummy. So today I asked where's your tummy and she proceeded to lift her dress and try to hit her tummy. But the dress was to long so the closest piece of skin was her thigh! I told her "No that's not your tummy!". So she lifted her dress way up to show me it. Then she bent over to see for herself! To funny! She also lately likes to put everything on her head. No matter what. I had a hair barrette the other day she found and put it on her head. She would laugh and think she some hot stuff. So today I put it on her head and said "Go show daddy!" She ran over close to Blake and just laughed and smiled! (Sorry my camera was down stairs) But then later she grabbed my sunglasses. So I put those on too and we showed daddy our stunner shads! She is such a silly girl! Anything she does she gets a kick out of.

Can you see me?
