I can't believe that ten years has gone by that fast. It's also hard to look back and see how much in my life has changed in those ten years! I graduated from high school
and college, meet the love of my life
and married him, bought a house,
and became a mother to not one but two beautiful little girls!! It only makes me more excited
and nervous to see what God has in stored for me in my next ten years. But today I am remembering what happened that day ten years ago! September 11, 2001 was a typical day for me. Taylor and I were driving to school. We were right by the jail turning onto the road that is the ramp to get on the highway there at Farmington Rd. and the radio said that a plane hit the world trade centers in New York City. I was a little freaking out and Taylor was like "where's that??" "The huge, tall towers in New York!! Idiot!" When we got to school the second plane hit and that's when I know it wasn't an accident! National Geographic had a great series on Remembering 9/11. It had from former President Bush's and Rudy Gullian's point of view from their day and other things that were quit interesting to me. To look back and see how I changed from that day and now to see other peoples stories and how I can put a face with a name of some one's loved one who was killed that day has forever changed me. I would be going
crazy if I was talking with Blake
knowing he was more then likely going to die, then to see the tower falling
knowing he's gone and there's nothing I could do. I couldn't be there holding him or going with him.
I'd go crazy!! I still really can't understand how someone, who has never meet you, would hate you so much as run a plane into your work and want to kill you? I think I'll never be able to rap my head around that kind of hatred!
