12 Months

Last week we went for Belle's 12 months check-up. We had a few things to talk about. Belle's had this rash on her back and tummy for a while. I thought it was just a little dry skin. I would put different lotions on it to see if it would help. And it didn't. She also got this rash in the crease of her arms. That got bad fast. I tried butt cream, an anti-itch cream, and a lo of other things and nothing seemed to help. Somethings made it worse. The Dr. looked at it and decided that she too like mommy has exscimu. She's been swimming in the pool and out in the sun more so he said that all those things can be an irritant. He gave us some ointment to make that rash go away. He told me to put her back on Zyrtec for three weeks and the rash should go away. So that's why she's naked in a lot of her photos 'cuz of the cream on her. We are also going to start whining her off the boob. The Dr. said she can only get whole milk and when ever we want to replace a feeding. She is drinking it vary well. She normally will drink and then when she gets enough she'll start spitting it out. Well she won't with the milk. Which is great 'cuz that would be a mess. Her over all growth is good.

She had to get her finger pricked for her iron levels and three shots. She did great. I think the thing she hated the most was when the nurse held her down to give the shots. She a vary tough cookie!
