I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. As you all know ours was filled with a lot! Annabelle and I went to the "Farm" on Saturday and of course Taylor broke his pelvis on Sunday. But we had a lovely time at the farm. Belle always has a fun time getting into things and getting good and dirty! Doing what kids do! It was as if we were in fall. The weather was perfect for everyone to sit around the camp fire and chat all day. So that's what we did. Aunt Lori and Uncle Chuck came up, Gigi came, along with Joe and Debbie Ingersol. Belle has started doing this thing with her fingers and nose. She likes to feel herself breathe. Don't ask me why! But she'll stick her finger either in her nose or on it to feel her breathe. More times now it's in her nose. What can I say she takes after her father! LOL I really think the main reason Belle will follow Grandma Debbie around is 'cuz she'll feed her constantly! Eating is Belle's favorite thing to do. You normally can expect something in her mouth when around Grandma! Another thing that has just started is Belle's worried obsession with rocks. She will pick them up and want to suck on them. Sometimes you'll find her just playing with one. Of all the new toys we have for her she'd rather go find a rock to play with. Now I'm rethinking the idea I had to not buy toys and just let her play with rocks and sticks 'cuz that's mainly what she plays with anyways. Now if I could just get them sterilized and not small enough for her to chock on I'd let her play all she wants!
