There is a good explanation for why I haven't been posting lately, I've been krazy couponing! A while back I tried to coupon and failed miserably. BUT about a month ago I saw this show on TLC called Extreme Couponing. I was sold again. This time was different I found this amazing website that is so helpful. I'm educating myself better and am ready this time to stay committed! I've only been doing this for about a month and on my first really week of clipping and couponing I saved 63%!!!! Last week I did grocery shopping at Kroger and saved 23%. I told Blake that if I could save just 25-30% on our grocery bill that would be an additional $100+ a month (People that $1200 in a year!!!) Bring on the new SUV! And no I didn't buy 100 deodorants. I did buy 90 Powerades, 12 boxes of pasta, 4 Nature Valley granola boxes, and 12+ cereals all for about $120! I'm thrilled with having something to do besides mother! I love it but I wanted to contribute in a way that will help my family long after I quit working. And really who wants to pay a company money for diapers when you could get them for 83% off!! I don't! I do have to send out a HUGE THANKS to my wonderful husband for putting up with my crazy shopping trips and weird outings. Hopefully I'll have this down no problem! Soon!

I have seen that show... The next picture I want to see is you laying in a pile of coupons... How cool is that!

I have tried the couponing before in the past also and failed miserably. I already have a coupon binder set up from before. Brent always says &*(% coupons, but when I get a good deal he is excited. Perhaps hearing of some of the deals from Blake, Brent will stop making fun of me. As not my cabinets are empty and it is time to stock up on new products. Hopefully this summer, I can get back in the swing of things, now only if I had more time.
